Although association activities are mainly carried out in Andalusia, with Spain’s integration in European supranational institutions it is increasingly participating in both national and international projects.
In 2008, AICIA participated in 15 international projects and 93 engineering works and it has carried out numerous tests, analysis, studies and consultancies, courses and workshops. Among the international projects various from the VI and VII Framework Programme and from the European Space Agency stand out, mainly in the areas of Electronics and Information Technology, Energy and Environment, and Aeronautics Engineering. Within the engineering works are those corresponding to the CENIT call for projects (AICIA participates in 15 CENIT projects from the first four calls), 4 singular and strategic projects and 10 AVANZA projects, as well as the proposal to the Andalusian Technological Corporation in which AICIA participation has reached 75%.
